The 30K Ponta do Papagaio is a celebration of endurance, nature and the running community. In its 14th edition, the event returns to Praia da Pinheira, in Palhoça, bringing together athletes from many places for a unique experience.
The course goes through Guarda do Embaú, over trails and dunes, along Praia do Baixio and around Ponta do Papagaio — with hydration along the whole route and medical support at key points.

Start at Praia de Cima and run to Ponta do Papagaio.

14 km Moderate / hard
Starts at Ponta do Papagaio, continues to Praia do Sonho, Ponta do Baixio and the Baixio trail, returns to Ponta do Papagaio and finishes at Praia de Cima.

Race information
General information
- Date: Sunday, 21 February 2027.
- Start and finish: Praia de Cima — Pinheira, Palhoça, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
- Starts are on time. Arrive at least 30 minutes early.
- Registration: online only, through Ticket Sports, until 31 January 2027 or while places last.
- Mandatory personal hydration: 15 km and 30 km athletes must carry a hydration pack or belt.
- Minimum age (reached by 31 December of the race year): 16 for the 6 km and 18 for the 10 km, 15 km and 30 km. Athletes aged 18 and 19 may not run distances longer than 21.1 km.

Athletes arriving after the official start have up to 5 minutes to begin the race.
Kit pickup
- Friday, 19 February 2027 — 10:00 to 20:00. Venue to be announced on the event's channels.
- Saturday, 20 February 2027 — 10:00 to 17:00, at Praia de Cima — Pinheira, Palhoça.
- Kits will not be handed out on race day and will not be shipped afterwards.
Documents: official photo ID (physical or original digital) and proof of payment or registration confirmation.
Pickup by someone else: the registered athlete's official photo ID (original or copy) and the signed authorization form — the template is in Annex I of the rules.

Prizes
Every registered finisher receives a finisher medal.
30 km solo — overall men and women:
- 1st place: R$ 1,000.00 + trophy
- 2nd place: R$ 800.00 + trophy
- 3rd place: R$ 600.00 + trophy
- 4th place: R$ 400.00 + trophy
- 5th place: R$ 200.00 + trophy
6 km, 10 km and 15 km: trophies for 1st to 5th overall and for the top 3 in each age group.
30 km relay: trophies for 1st to 3rd in duos (men's, women's and mixed), trios (men's, women's and mixed) and quintets (open).
Overall winners of the 30 km are not eligible for age-group prizes. Age groups for each distance are listed in the rules.
Timing and technical rules
- Electronic chip timing. The bib number must be visible on the front of your outfit, unaltered and unfolded.
- The overall classification uses gun time; age groups use chip time.
- The race follows the rules of World Athletics, the Brazilian Athletics Confederation (CBAt) and the Santa Catarina Athletics Federation.
- Athletes in the competitive field may not use mobile phones, headphones or radios. GPS watches and wrist heart-rate monitors are allowed.
- Appeals: in writing, within 30 minutes of the results being published, with a R$ 100.00 fee — refunded if the appeal is upheld.
Discounts and special categories
- Athletes aged 60 or over: 50% off the registration price of the current period (Brazilian Law 10,741/2003). The original ID must be shown at kit pickup.
- Athletes with disabilities: registration with the Basic Kit. If a guide is needed, the guide's registration is free of charge, with an identified bib number. Requests are made through the contact form (subject “Athlete with a disability”) or by WhatsApp; the organizers reply and ask for the medical report.

Changes and withdrawals
- Transfer to another person: in person at kit pickup, with a R$ 50.00 fee, an authorization form signed by the original registrant and a copy of their official ID.
- Change of category or distance: free of charge until 10 January 2027. After that, a R$ 50.00 fee plus any price difference, subject to availability.
- Refunds: up to 7 days after the online purchase (art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code). No refunds after that.
Medical support
There are 4 ambulances with medical and nursing teams at key points: Baixio, Ponta do Papagaio and the finish arena.
Emergency care and follow-up are provided by the public health system. Athletes who choose private care bear the transport and treatment costs.
